KICINSKI FOR CONGRESS
For Immediate Release - June 12, 2012 Contact: Michael Kicinski (315) 691-4906 Information@KicinskiForCongress.com Kicinski Is Clear On Issues Earlville, NY. (June 12, 2012) Kicinski For Congress announces that they have updated the website for Issues information. Michael Kicinski, Republican candidate for Congress, is not afraid to speak on the issues. "We choose a candidate because of how that candidate says he will vote, and I will be clear on the issues," Kicinski said. Kicinski For Congress has updated their own website and other online voting guides. Kicinski says his opponent Richard Hanna seems to be avoiding the issues. "We have not heard anything on the issues from my opponent," Kicinski said. "He has no 'Issues' section on his campaign website and other websites are very outdated. This makes me think Mr. Hanna doesn't want the People to know his record." Michael Kicinski points out that the people are upset with his opponent's single term record. "Mr. Hanna likes to boast that he 'has voted for the Balanced Budget Amendment, banned earmarks and cut almost 1 trillion dollars in spending through his support of the Budget Control Act,' but his record shows these issues in a different light." Kicinski says no progress has been made in any of those claims. "We have no budget and have no agreement on a balance budget. Mr. Hanna voted to increase our debt limit 3 times, and it is now at $16.4 Trillion. And though earmarks may have been banned, Mr. Hanna found away around that by introducing a commemorative coin bill for a special project funding." Kicinski's opponent was quoted* early in the Primary race as saying, "I’ve got a record that I’m very happy to get out and talk about." Kicinski responds with, "But he is yet to talk about his record, or even post his views on issues on his website, during this election." Kicinski adds: "Mr. Hanna is clearly avoiding the issues because he knows his record shows he is not representing the People, the Republican Party and their values or platform. He fails to acknowledge his votes to increase our debt limit to record highs, his support for 'sex selection' abortions even though he calls that 'abhorrent,' and his failure to protect our Constitutional right to due process with a NDAA clarification amendment." Michael Kicinski is on the ballot for the New York Republican Congressional Primary set for June 26. More information can be found at www.KicinskiForCongress.com website.
